  1.0 GENERAL DESCRIPTION:


Service Description/Abstract

This service will allow subscribers to send in complaints or reports about erring DOF officials and its attached agencies. This will then be sent directly to their RIPS serve rto track complaints. Bureaus under the DOF are Bureau of Internal Revenue, Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Local Government Finance, Bureau of Treasury, Insurance Commission, National Tax and Research Center, Central Board o Assessment Appeal, Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation, Philippine Export-Import Credit Agency, Public Estates Authority, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, Cooperative Development Authority.

2.0 MECHANICS:

a) This service is available to all subscribers.


b) Subscriber can submit abuse of officials within the DOF and its bureaus or commission. These are:

  • Department of Finance | type DOF
  • Bureau of Internal Revenue | type BIR
  • Bureau of Customs | type BOC
  • Bureau of Local Government Finance | type BLGF
  • Bureau of Treasury | type BTR
  • Insurance Commission | type IC
  • National Tax and Research Center | type NTRC
  • Central Board of Assessment Appeal | type CBAA
  • Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation | type PDIC
  • Philippine Export-Import Credit Agency | type PHILEX
  • Public Estates Authority | type PEA
  • Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation | type PAGCOR
  • Cooperative Development Authority | type CDA

c) To submit complaints, subs need to key in

DOF <space><NAME>/<DESIGNATION>/<AGENCY>/<COMPLAINT> and send to 269.

  • Graft and Corruption = GRFT&CORUPTION
  • Lifestyle Check = LFSTYLE CHK
  • Extortion = EXTORTION
  • Bribery = BRIBERY
/ seperator, this should be included.

d) Subscriber will receive a confirmation message that her/his complaint was received together with an 8-digit alpha numeric number.


e) Subscriber can check the progress of their complaint by logging on in the
RIPS SMS Complaint Tracker
using the 8-digit alphanumeric number as password.
